Semi-automatic semaphores have a chamber layout adapted to the planned speeds and movement needs at the station. Home semaphores are usually five-chamber with a light system (from above) green, orange, red, orange, matte white. These semaphores are also used as exit signals, if the trail behind the station is equipped with ABS. Sometimes semaphores of this type are equipped with green, orange or both light stripes. If the course to which the semaphore relates will be driven only straight ahead (e.g. it is not possible to descend to the reverse path) simplified semaphores without orange light chambers (arrangement of lights: green, red, matt white) or without one orange light (green, red, orange, matte white) are used. If there are no maneuvers at the station and there is little traffic on its area, some semaphores don't have a matte-white light chamber. If the station is an end station or trains do not pass through it without stopping, you can use semaphores without a green light chamber (orange, red, orange, white, or orange, red, white).
